Privacy policy
Privacy Policy
WifeLife Design ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our online store, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Contact and order details: your name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses.
- Your order history and any messages you send us.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment providers. We don't see or store your full card details.
- Information collected automatically when you visit our store, such as your device, browser, the pages you view and how you found us. We collect this using cookies and similar technologies.
- If you sign up for our marketing, your contact details and marketing preferences.
- If you leave a review, the review and the name you choose to display.
- If you join our rewards program or become an affiliate or creator partner, your account details, points, and referral and commission activity.
Why we collect it
We use your information to process and deliver your orders, handle returns and exchanges, respond to your enquiries, prevent fraud, improve our store, run our rewards and referral programs, and send you marketing if you've chosen to receive it.
Who we share it with
We share only the information needed with service providers who help us run our store:
- Shopify, which hosts our store and provides our checkout and our email, forms and automation tools
- Payment providers: Shopify Payments, Afterpay and PayPal
- Delivery: Australia Post, which delivers your order, and SellerDash, which we use to create Australia Post shipping labels from your name, delivery address and contact details
- Email marketing: Shopify's email tools and Klaviyo
- Product reviews: Judge.me
- Rewards program: LoyaltyLion
- Affiliate and creator programs: GoAffPro and Shopify Collabs. These track orders placed through an affiliate's or creator's link or code so we can pay their commission.
Afterpay, PayPal and Australia Post also handle your information under their own privacy policies.
How Shopify uses information
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify collects information about how you use our store. Shopify may combine information from our store with information from other Shopify stores to provide and improve its services, including some of the features we use, such as its email and creator tools. Shopify says this may include advertising-related uses, and that it doesn't share our customers' information with other merchants. To learn how Shopify handles personal information, including how to exercise your rights with Shopify, see Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers.
Shopify says it won't use your information for these advertising purposes if you decline optional cookies in our cookie banner, where it's shown, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
Selling and sharing your information
We don't sell your personal information to anyone for money. As explained above, some of our providers, including Shopify, may use information collected through our store for their own purposes, including advertising-related purposes. Depending on where you live, the law may treat this as "selling" or "sharing" personal information. You can limit this using the choices described in this policy.
Overseas storage and processing
Some of our service providers store or process personal information outside Australia. Based on the information they publish, these countries include the United States, Canada, Singapore, India, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and countries in the European Union. They may also include other countries where our providers or their own service providers operate.
Marketing
We send marketing emails only to people who actively choose to receive them, by ticking the marketing box at checkout (it isn't ticked in advance) or by signing up on our store. If we offer SMS marketing, we'll send it only to people who sign up for it. Every marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also email us at any time to opt out.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, to understand how our store is used and to measure our marketing. You can control cookies in your browser settings. In some regions, including the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, you may see a cookie banner when you first visit our store. The banner lets you accept or decline cookies that aren't needed for the store to work, or choose which types to allow.
Children
We sell children's clothing, but our store is intended for use by adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Keeping your information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. We rely on our providers' security measures for payments and data storage. We keep personal information, including customer profiles and purchase history, for as long as we need it for legitimate business purposes, such as managing orders and returns, maintaining our customer relationships and keeping the records the law requires. We delete personal information when we no longer need it, or when the law requires us to, subject to any legal obligation to keep it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing wifelifedesign@gmail.com. If you ask us to delete your information, we'll delete what we no longer need. We may keep some information, such as your order and purchase history, where we need it for legitimate business purposes or to meet our legal obligations. We'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
